Blank Children’s Hospital receives a check for $15,000 after the impressive results of its 2016 “Steps for Charity Challenge” were tallied at the Principal Charity Classic. 24.8 MILLION steps were logged by golfers, caddies, spectators, volunteers and tournament staff on June 3 and 4, exceeding their goal by nearly 5 million steps. Brenna Finnerty, Annual Giving Director at Blank Children’s Hospital, states, “Walking is truly the easiest way for people to start getting active, and it’s something that can be done as a family. This event is the perfect way to get people focused on becoming more active, and we couldn’t be more thankful to Quester for helping support this event – and healthy families – two years in a row!”
Quester volunteers handed out free pedometers and greeted guests at the 14th Green. Quester also donated $5000 in support of children and families at Blank Children’s Hospital because the goal was achieved.
